Job description:
1. Maintain and update employee files, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date (attendance, contracts, performance reviews, etc.).
2. Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
3. Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
4. Prepare new hire paperwork and assist in employee onboarding and orientation processes.
5. Ensure that new employees complete necessary documents and are familiarized with salon policies.
6. Support the payroll process by collecting and verifying timesheets and assisting in the timely processing of employee salaries.
7. Address employee queries related to payroll, leaves, and benefits.
8. Help administer employee benefits programs (e.g., health benefits, paid time off).
9. Assist in the implementation and communication of salon policies, ensuring staff adherence to company standards.
10. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations, providing updates to management when necessary.
11. Act as a point of contact for staff inquiries and concerns, resolving minor HR issues or escalating them to the HR Manager.
12. Coordinate with the HR Manager to support the development and delivery of training programs for staff.
13. Track employee progress and certifications for professional development within the salon and other affiliates.
14. Manage HR-related correspondence and communications (e.g., memos, announcements).
15. Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and other departments as needed.
16. Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and events.
17. Perform other tasks assigned.
