Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Supervisor to oversee the HR team and manage critical HR functions, including payroll, taxation, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR BPO, payroll management, tax compliance, and HR best practices. As an HR Supervisor, you will ensure smooth HR operations, manage payroll processes, ensure tax compliance, administer employee benefits, and support a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations Management:
- Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
- Supervise and provide guidance to HR staff to ensure efficiency and consistency in HR operations.
2. Payroll Administration:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Oversee payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and other withholdings.
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax laws, reporting requirements, and employee wage laws.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure payroll expenses are accurately reflected in company financials.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies, inquiries, and issues in a timely manner.
3. HR BPO Management:
- Manage the relationship with external HR service providers (BPO), ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Coordinate with HR BPO vendors for payroll processing, benefits administration, and other outsourced HR functions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to HR BPO services and escalate to senior management if needed.
4. Taxation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, including withholding, remittance, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of tax-related documentation and filings related to payroll, employee benefits, and other HR-related taxes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring company policies are adjusted as needed.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of employee compensation, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Conduct regular market salary surveys to ensure the organization offers competitive compensation packages.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to benefits and compensation.
6. Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
- Provide guidance and support in employee performance issues, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a positive work culture, driving employee engagement and retention.
7. HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Generate reports on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, payroll data, compliance).
- Analyze HR data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Prepare HR and payroll reports for senior management and external stakeholders as needed.
8. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and ensure appropriate learning programs are developed and delivered.
- Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in HR, with significant experience in payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, compensation structures, and benefits administration. generating Financial Statements.
- Experience working with payroll systems, HRIS, and external payroll vendors.
- Experience in HR BPO environments is highly preferred.
