Job Purpose: The HR Business Partner, Employee Relations ensures that employees within the organization understands the company policies and procedures. This role is responsible in planning and organizing programs that support and enhance employee productivity and engagement. Duties and Responsibilities: • Work closely with the HR Manager and serves as designated expert on the interpretation of human resources policies & labor laws for Philippines and in administering projects for career development and commendations • Lead the development programs and foster the company’s culture ensuring all initiatives/activities are promoted and delivered. • Facilitates disciplinary actions and case investigations including but not limited to notices issuance and serving of penalties to concerned employees with the assistance of immediate superior • Works with the Sr. HR Manager in developing and implementing the company’s code of conduct • Provide guidance and updates on company policies and works with the management and employees to promote harmonious environment within organization • Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing. • Extensive interaction with Operations Leadership team • Ensures due process is followed consistently including processing of return-to-work notice • Provides advice and counsel to employees on employee relations issues and workplace practices • Conducts research and evaluation of existing policies to introduce new perspectives and applicable process • Maintains HR resignation and Discipline tracker. • Process termination and other HRIS system update • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by immediate superior. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, HR Management or equivalent • 3 – 5 years of related working experienced handling employee and labor relations in a BPO, call center environment • In-depth knowledge on Labor law and practices in the Philippines • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Good project management skills and ability to communicate effectively with various levels in the organization • Adept in MS office and Excel application/s Working Conditions: • Work Set-Up: Onsite • Work Schedule: US hours, 9PM to 5AM Manila Time • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear. • Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress. • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
