IT Supervisor
The IT Supervisor will lead a team in the management and enhancement of our information systems and IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing operations technical support, and system performance while ensuring operational efficiency and security compliance. The supervisor will also play a pivotal role in strategic planning, process improvement, and maintaining high levels of service for our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Ensure all security measures, including antivirus software, are current and functioning properly to protect organizational data.
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including the setup of workstations and user accounts.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Supervise and mentor technical staff, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current systems and processes, recommending improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Provide ongoing support for information systems, ensuring all users have the necessary resources and assistance.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on system performance, project progress, and relevant metrics to management.
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
- Identify issues during operational hours, providing recommendations and timely responses to service requests and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support activities, inventory, and system documentation, including issue resolutions and data management.
- Oversee data entry and maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards, while generating reports and summaries as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support or IT operations, with a focus on supervisory or leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of network systems, database administration, and IT security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with data management practices and software applications.
