The Key Account Officer is responsible for driving business growth by managing and developing key customer accounts across Modern Trade, General Trade, and B2B channels. The role involves the planning, execution, and evaluation of sales strategies and promotional activities to meet revenue targets and expand market coverage.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Achievement of Assigned Sales Metrics
· Attain monthly and annual sales targets by account, channel, and territory.
· Implement and monitor the VDMP framework (Volume, Distribution, Merchandising, Promotions):
o Volume:
§ Achieve actual sales vs. target sales per account.
§ Set realistic and data-based sales targets per customer.
o Distribution:
§ Track SKU penetration per customer and per branch.
o Merchandising:
§ Ensure merchandising standards are implemented in-store.
§ Oversee installation and visibility of merchandising materials (if applicable).
o Promotions:
§ Ensure timely and full execution of promotional programs.
§ Analyze actual results vs. target (e.g., sales uplift, budget use).
· Monitor and ensure timely collection of receivables.
2. Development of Strategic Sales Plans
· Collaborate with Sales Management and cross-functional teams in formulating growth strategies for both Modern Trade and General Trade channels.
· Align strategic initiatives with overall Company Plans to meet business goals and KPIs.
3. Development of Area-Specific Business Plans
· Cascade company sales objectives to specific areas and customer levels.
· Ensure clarity and alignment of targets across all levels—area, customer, and account.
4. Training and Development of Sales Personnel
· Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and opportunities.
· Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
· Assist in planning and executing sales training and skills development sessions.
5. Execution of Special Projects
· Lead or support pre-agreed strategic and operational projects that contribute to the Sales Department’s overall performance.
Skills and Job Qualifications:
· College graduate;
· Field Sales Management (At least 5 years)
· Brand Management experience is an advantage
· Leadership, Creativity, Excellent Communication Skills (both oral and written), Business Sense, Entrepreneurship, Systematic, Strong people handling skills

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
