Role OverviewThe Licenced Psychologist or Guidance Counselor plays an integral role in supporting psychological safety, emotional resilience, and overall mental health within the workplace. This position involves delivering one-on-one sessions, facilitating small-group sessions, providing timely support for urgent wellbeing needs, and leading training focused on resilience, healthy coping and distress management.
We are seeking qualified professionals with a background in Clinical Counseling or Psychology. The ideal candidate will be a fully licensed Registered Psychologist or Guidance Counselor with experience in trauma-informed care and resilience-building, and someone who can build trust, engage diverse teams, and respond effectively in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
Individual Well-Being Sessions- Conduct monthly or on-demand 1:1 well-being sessions.
- Provide same-day crisis intervention support in response to urgent wellbeing needs.
- Incorporate stress-reduction techniques, coping strategies, and decision-making skills into sessions.
- Facilitate monthly small-group sessions focusing on peer support in a psychologically safe space to foster healthy working relationships and social connection.
- Tailor sessions based on team dynamics, feedback from Team Leads, or insights gained by the wellbeing team.
- Deliver group training sessions including onboarding, well-being and resiliency training, and annual refresher training.
- Facilitate additional approved ad hoc training sessions as requested, aligned with organizational needs.
- Ensure all training is delivered within prescribed timeframes and formats provided by the organization.
- Conduct daily floor walks ("walk and talks") during each shift to observe team interactions and employee demeanor for signs of distress.
- Normalize Wellbeing Specialist presence on-site as a supportive and integrated member of the team.
- Provide discreet and proactive intervention as necessary.
- Actively monitor and respond to direct communications from individuals across designated platforms, including email and other communication tools.
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and timely response protocol.
- Accurately record attendance and aggregate trends/topics in the organization’s system of record within 24 hours of each session.
- Enter session insights (excluding any clinical or personally identifiable information) using the organization’s wellbeing tool in alignment with privacy and data protection policies.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical reporting obligations, including disclosures related to self-harm, abuse, misconduct, or legal directives.
- Summarize trends and insights from sessions and observations during floor walks using the organization’s reporting tools.
- Contribute to regular team updates and meetings with relevant aggregated clinical themes emerging from individual and group session.
- Block time for on-demand sessions, floor walks, and proactive engagement activities in alignment with shift schedules.
- Remain available and responsive for unscheduled support and crisis interventions as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum master's degree in psychology.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience post bachelor's degree in mental health, preferably in areas such as trauma counselling, resilience-building programs, general or clinical mental health support.
- Must hold a valid and active license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Registered Psychologist (RPsy) or Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC) or will be sitting the board exam in order to obtain a license in 2025.
- Fluent in written and spoken Filipino and English is mandatory.
- Fluent in written and spoken Tagalog, Cebuano, Hiligaynon or Ilocano would be preferred.
- Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.
- Excellent data management and administrative skills, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of client information and session records
- Demonstrated ability to engage clients and build strong, trust-based relationships
- Experience in cross-cultural counselling, with sensitivity and competence in working with diverse backgrounds
- Proven professionalism and adherence to ethical standards, including effective communication and confidentiality in corporate settings
