The Company Chemist is responsible for formulating skincare and cosmetic products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, HALAL, ASEAN), and maintaining product safety and quality standards. This role supports product development, testing, documentation, and quality assurance across all production stages.
Duties and Responsibility:
- Formulate and test skincare and cosmetic products.
- Conduct stability, compatibility, and quality tests (physical, chemical, microbiological).
- Assist in preparing regulatory documents (HALAL, FDA, Drug/Cosmetic registrations).
- Ensure GMP, SOPs, and safety policies are followed in the lab and production areas.
- Monitor raw materials, processes, and finished goods for compliance and quality.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare technical reports.
- Provide technical support during product manufacturing and launches.
Qualifications
- Licensed Chemist (preferred or required).
- Degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, or pharma is a plus.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and product formulation/testing.
- Experience in documentation in manufacturing
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff in the team
