Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Ensure food presentation meets the company's standards, paying attention to aesthetics and portion control.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate orders and ensure timely delivery of dishes to customers.
- Handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Adapt to changing priorities and be flexible in assisting with various kitchen tasks as needed.
- Stay updated with new culinary techniques and trends, contributing innovative ideas to the menu.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude within the team, fostering a harmonious work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant culinary training in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy hours.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
- A passion for cooking and a dedication to delivering exceptional dishes to our guests.
