We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will ensure that productivity targets are met and maintain a high standard of inventory accuracy. Expedite the movement, handling, and storage of various non-hazardous and hazardous materials across warehouses. Must be familiar with advanced inventory control processes and have an attention for detail when counting and transacting material within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs goods receipts for inbound parts from suppliers to identified warehouses in PH;
- Performs goods receipts when manufacturing partner produces bikes, batteries and motors for export;
- Supports loading checks / accuracy checks for outbound shipments from manufacturing partner;
- Helps to book outbound shipments with assigned carriers;
- Helps coordinate packing and palletizing parts when they ship;
- Performs material movement transaction/ transfers within in SAP for movements in separate warehouses;
- Perform on hand cycle count audits as needed to support our cycle count requirements;
- Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders;
- Work closely with corresponding global logistics and external warehouse teams ensuring open communications, and a complete understanding of all internal processes and procedures;
- Act as a liaison with local Logistics, Service Engineering and Materials Team;
- Collaborate with local teams to identify and mitigate logistics concerns at shipping/receiving;
- Perform frequent motorcycles inventory audits in the shipping yard and ensure accuracy;
- Work with freight carriers to ensure they follow the process (including correct documents);
- Report any discrepancies or process-related issues to the Logistics Analyst (escalation);
- Resolve concerns with stakeholder.
Qualifications:
- Education: College diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or a related role.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge and/or experience of ERP systems (SAP experience preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and other translatable computer software used in warehouse environments;
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in warehouse and/or receiving areas;
- Comprehensive understanding of terms such as Kanban, FIFO, Cycle Counting and overall improvement of efficiency and quality through these processes;
o Must be able to communicate clearly and work effectively with other team members.
