Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance & Processing Technician to support both maintenance and processing operations at our Almond Processing Plant. This hands-on role involves mechanical servicing, process operation, contractor coordination, and safety compliance across seasonal operations.
Key Responsibilities During Maintenance Season
- Coordinate servicing and repairs of plant machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records for all plant and leased equipment.
- Support the development of quality assurance procedures.
- Perform hands-on mechanical tasks: fitting, assembling, grinding, and shaping metal components.
- Complete preventative maintenance and identify areas for repair.
- Prepare cost analysis and stock reports; escalate issues promptly to Supervisor.
- Manage and align maintenance operations with work scopes and schedules.
During Processing Season
- Operate and adjust plant equipment to meet production targets.
- Follow start-up, shutdown, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Monitor process flow and perform routine quality checks (product samples, weights, etc.).
- Adjust machines as needed; report maintenance issues promptly.
- Participate in Autonomous Maintenance activities (Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection, Tightening - CLIT).
- Contribute to continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Solid mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and fabrication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, adaptable approach.
- Competent computer skills, especially in maintenance management systems.
Desirable:
- Experience in food processing or agricultural sectors.
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Metal Fabrication (or equivalent hands-on experience).

Pay: Up to Php240,000.00 per month
