Key Responsibilities:
- Assign and supervise daily maintenance tasks to technicians and workers.
- Ensure completion of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor and inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose equipment issues and assist in troubleshooting complex problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are available for scheduled work.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve skills and performance.
- Coordinate with other departments to address urgent maintenance requests.
- Report work progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Maintenance Head.
- Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is an advantage.
