Why does this role exist?
This role is critical to scaling the company’s operations as they expand product lines and distribution channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Manufacturing & Logistics Specialist will manage end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring smooth coordination with domestic and international manufacturers and logistics partners. The goal is to optimize production timelines, inventory flow, and fulfillment processes to support rapid growth while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
The Impact you’ll make
Manufacturing Coordination- Liaise with domestic and overseas manufacturers to manage production schedules and capacity
- Monitor material flow and ensure timely delivery of components for assembly
- Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain product standards
Logistics & Fulfillment Management
- Oversee inbound shipments and outbound delivery, including freight, warehousing, and last-mile logistics
- Coordinate with 3PL providers and freight forwarders to ensure timely, cost-effective shipping
- Track shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays
Inventory & Systems Oversight
- Reconcile inventory data across ERP (e.g., NetSuite, DEAR), 3PL, and internal tracking systems
- Forecast inventory needs in partnership with Operations, Customer Experience, and Finance teams
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies or inefficiencies
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Lead initiatives to streamline manufacturing and logistics workflows, reducing costs and increasing efficiency
- Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and shipping regulations
- Support sustainability and quality control efforts as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- Proven experience working with domestic and international manufacturers
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or DEAR
- Experience managing 3PL relationships and freight forwarding
- Background in DTC or CPG product environments, preferably in a startup or high-growth setting
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and ERP software
- Excellent vendor and stakeholder communication and relationship management
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently

Work Setup:

- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Time
- $7 per hour
