- Quality Assessment: Evaluate the quality of each ham leg through touch, smell, and taste to ensure optimal selection.
- Storage Management: Oversee the storage of hams and cold cuts, ensuring proper conditions to maintain freshness.
- Equipment Handling: Utilize and maintain specialized equipment such as slicers, deboning tables, vacuum machines, and weighing scales.
- Slicing Technique: Employ precise slicing methods to produce paper-thin slices that highlight the ham's flavor and texture.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with event coordinators to provide live slicing demonstrations at weddings, festivals, and corporate events.
- Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness of knives, equipment, and work areas to meet hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Education: At least a high school graduate; college graduates of any hospitality management course are preferred.
- Experience: At least one year of work experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a Spanish restaurant.
- Skills: Proficiency in using ham slicing machinery (e.g., slicer machine, deboning table, vacuum machine, weighing scale, price tag machine).
- Certifications: Preferably with a food handler certificate.
- Language: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Tagalog and English.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, with good organizing and coordination skills.
