Qualifications:
Required:
1. Good verbal and written communication skills.
2. Minimum 6 months of experience in medical billing in a BPO Company
3. Tech savvy.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Submit claims promptly and accurately using QMS Billing Software.
2. Monitor claim status and address issues such as denials, unpaid claims, and delayed EOBs.
3. Utilize payer portals and phone calls to verify claim status and resolve discrepancies.
4. Initiate collections process upon claim receipt.
5. Investigate denial reasons, insurance changes, and missing information on claims.
6. Record all claim status updates and denials in spreadsheets and QMS Billing Software.
7. Maintain detailed documentation of billing activities.
8. Ensure accurate use of QMS claim numbers and interface with clearing house systems.
9. Adhere to company policies for proper documentation and patient profile remarks.
10. Maintain compliance with insurance provider regulations and guidelines.
