Job Description
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Philippines at Guardant Health AMEA plays a vital role in advancing the company's mission to transform cancer care through genomic insights. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with healthcare professionals and supporting the integration of the GH AMEA diagnostic portfolio into clinical practice across the Philippine region and has potential to handle/expand to other Southeast Asia countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scientific Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on the company's diagnostic solutions and the broader field of precision oncology.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and institutions to facilitate the adoption of genomic testing in oncology.
- Medical Education: Develop and deliver scientific presentations, training, and workshops to healthcare providers, ensuring a deep understanding of genomic insights and their clinical application.
- Support for Molecular Tumor Boards: Plan, execute, and support Molecular Tumor Boards (MTBs) across the region to aid in clinical decision-making and patient management.
- Real-World Evidence Generation: Collaborate with clinical and research communities to design and execute real-world evidence (RWE) studies demonstrating the value of genomic testing in oncology.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g. marketing, sales, communications, etc.) to align strategies with overall objectives.
- Market Insights: Collect and analyze insights from healthcare professionals to inform product development, market strategy, and educational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Medical or life science degree, preferably in molecular genetics or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar field-based medical role, ideally in oncology or molecular diagnostics.

- Regional Knowledge: Understanding of the Philippine/Southeast Asian healthcare landscape, including key markets such as Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and others.
- Scientific Communication: Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the region as required.
