Position Overview
The Motorpool Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers, drivers, and the service/maintenance team. This role ensures that all vehicles under the company’s motorpool are properly maintained, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner. The Service Advisor is responsible for assessing vehicle concerns, preparing job orders, coordinating with mechanics/technicians, and ensuring that all maintenance and repair activities meet company standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and record service requests, complaints, and vehicle maintenance needs from internal and external clients.
- Conduct initial assessment of vehicle concerns and provide accurate job/service estimates.
- Prepare and issue job orders to mechanics/technicians and monitor work progress.
- Coordinate with parts and procurement team to ensure availability of necessary spare parts and supplies.
- Ensure proper documentation of vehicle service history, repair costs, and maintenance schedules.
- Communicate clearly with clients and drivers regarding job status, completion time, and service recommendations.
- Implement safety protocols and quality standards in all service activities.
- Generate reports on service activities, costs, and vehicle performance for management review.
- Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance for fleet vehicles to minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in service operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive service, fleet management, or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge in vehicle systems, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with service management software is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php21,139.58 - Php24,139.58 per month
