Position Summary
The Part-Time NetSuite Functional Consultant role is hands-on and collaborative, requiring strong understanding of NetSuites capabilities and a proactive approach to solving problems and implementing improvements. The role will support the businesss use of NetSuite through the following areas:
Key Responsibilities
- Reports & Searches:
Create, customize, and optimize adhoc saved searches and reports to meet the needs of users across finance, operations, and sales teams. - Data Management:
Support data imports and exports using CSV imports and other tools to maintain data integrity and accuracy. - User Training & Support:
Train new basic users and provide ongoing support to ensure proper use of NetSuite functionality across departments. - Feature Testing & Documentation:
Test new features and system upgrades, report issues, and update internal user guides and process documentation accordingly. - Issue Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve user issues, working collaboratively with the system administrator and NetSuite technical consultant when needed. - Acquisition Onboarding:
Assist external NetSuite Consultants and business in onboarding acquired entities into the NetSuite environment.. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for better utilization of NetSuite features and recommend solutions to streamline business processes. - Collaboration:
Liaise with internal teams and external NetSuite consultants to ensure system stability and continued improvement.
Skills & Experience
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant or equivalent role
- Thorough knowledge of NetSuite modules including Finance, CRM, ERP, Projects, and Reporting
- Demonstrated experience with saved searches, reporting, CSV imports/exports
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Experience in training basic users and updating system documentation
