Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Planning and Budgeting Consultant to lead the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of Oracle NetSuite Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS). The ideal candidate will partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to design scalable budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting models in NetSuite PBCS/NSPB.
- Collaborate with FP&A and department heads to gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Build and maintain driver-based models, forms, business rules, and approval workflows.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics for budget vs. actual analysis, rolling forecasts, and financial KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy and integration between NetSuite ERP and NSPB using data management tools (e.g., Smart View, Data Management, EPM Automate).
- Train and support end-users, providing documentation and troubleshooting assistance.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert (SME) on NetSuite Planning & Budgeting best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting NetSuite Planning and Budgeting or Oracle PBCS/EPBCS.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, FP&A processes, and business planning cycles.
- Proficient in Smart View, EPM Automate, Excel, and scripting (e.g., Groovy or business rules).
- Experience in integrating ERP data with planning tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- NetSuite ERP implementation or administration experience
- NetSuite Certification(s) in Planning and Budgeting or ERP.
- Familiarity with SuiteAnalytics, SuiteScript, or SuiteFlow
- Exposure to multi-entity or global financial planning environments
