Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of King George Precision Marketing, Inc. – Tarlac Branch, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources, processes, and personnel to achieve company objectives. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of distribution, logistics, and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies. Monitor sales performance and provide support to achieve sales targets. Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including inventory management, good warehousing practices, order fulfillment, logistics, and sales. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations and reduce costs. Utilize data analysis and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure alignment of operational activities with company objectives. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience in operations and sales management within a distribution or logistics environment is an advantage.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
Above-average knowledge in Microsoft Excel an advantage.
This role is primarily based in a distribution center environment, with some office-based work. May require occasional travel to other company locations or customer sites. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
