Vestas has started its strategic workforce planning journey in 2024, and the practice is currently in its infancy. The department will support the maturation of our organisational effectiveness practices, including, but not limited to workforce planning.

Responsibilities
- Initial Setup and Orientation
- Onboard and understand Vestas' strategic workforce planning journey
- Contribute to landing the delivery of in-flight WFP rollout stages
- Define the next phases of project scope, deliverables, and timelines
- Conduct initial meetings with key stakeholders
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy
- Start analyzing existing workforce data
- Team Building and Data Collection
- Source and recruit team members as required
- Operational delivery of workforce planning processes
- Continue data collection and begin addressing data challenges
- Develop a framework for workforce planning and strategic workforce planning
- Conduct workshops and training
- Product Development and Implementation
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog
- Design the organizational effectiveness product suite
- Begin operational delivery of the organizational effectiveness product suite
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and IT, including leading in a project format
- Ongoing activities
- Communicate insights and shape conversations with stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between workforce planning and financial planning processes
- Implement data and system improvements
- Enhance the portfolio of products available in P&C Analytics
- Advanced Implementation and Continuous Improvement
- Support behavior change within the P&C business partners and leaders
- Ensure the availability, awareness, and correct usage of the People Analytics/WFP portfolio
- Continuously evaluate and improve workforce planning processes and tools
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline, Finance / Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Project Management certification or consulting experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce planning or a related field
- Language: Candidates are fluent in English, both verbal and written

- Leads through organizational change, such as restructures, mergers, or digital transformation
- Supports leaders and employees through transitions with understanding and clarity

- Understands how workforce planning fits into the broader HR ecosystem (e.g., talent acquisition, learning, succession)
- Designs integrated solutions that consider interdependencies
- Communication & Storytelling
- Translates complex data into compelling narratives for different audiences
- Builds trust and alignment through clear, concise, and impactful communication
