Payroll Accountant – Job Description
Position Overview:
The Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing and processing payroll for approximately 800 employees, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement in compliance with government regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements. The role involves handling compensation, benefits, tax reporting, and reconciliation of payroll accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process end-to-end payroll for ~800 employees on a monthly/semi-monthly basis.
- Validate employee timesheets, attendance records, overtime, leave credits, and other payroll-related data.
- Ensure compliance with government-mandated contributions and reporting (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and other statutory deductions).
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly/annual government reports (e.g., Alpha List, BIR 2316, SSS R3, PhilHealth RF-1, Pag-IBIG remittances).
- Handle payroll adjustments, including allowances, incentives, bonuses, deductions, and final pay.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure payroll information in line with data privacy policies.
- Reconcile payroll accounts with the General Ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and provide support to employees and management.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll and taxation.

Pay: Up to Php35,000.00 per month
