BACKGROUND / LICENSE: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mining, or

SPECIFIC WORK SKILLS: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mining, or
related field; Juris Doctor or Master’s degree is an advantage.
At least 5–7 years of experience in permits, licensing, and compliance,
preferably in the mining, energy, or heavy industries.
Strong knowledge of Philippine mining regulations, environmental laws,
and LGU permitting processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in dealing with
government agencies and communities.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple permit
applications simultaneously.
Location Requirement: Must be willing to work in Angono, Rizal and do

and policies. GENERAL JOB SCOPE: 1. Regulatory ComplianceEnsure the company’s mining operations comply with the Philippine
Mining Act of 1995 (RA 7942), DENR-MGB guidelines, Environmental
Compliance Certificate (ECC) requirements, and other applicable national
and local regulations. Monitor changes in laws, ordinances, and regulatory issuances affecting
the mining industry. 2. Permits and Licences Management
Identify, apply for, secure, and renew all required permits and licenses
from agencies such as:
DENR – Environmental Compliance, Tree Cutting, Water Permits
MGB – Exploration Permits, Mineral Production Sharing Agreements
(MPSA), Ore Transport Permits
LGUs – Mayor’s Permit, Barangay Clearance, Real Property Tax
Clearances
NCIP – Free and Prior Informed Consent (FPIC)
DOE/EMB/DOLE – Safety, energy, environmental, and labor-related
clearances
Maintain a centralized tracker/database of all permits, licenses, expiry
dates, and compliance deadlines.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with government agencies, LGUs, and regulatory bodies for
application follow-ups, inspections, and compliance reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Safety,
Environment, HR) to gather technical and documentary requirements.
Represent the company in public hearings, consultations, and regulatory
meetings.
4. Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and submit compliance reports to relevant agencies within
required timelines.
Maintain an organized archive of all permits, licenses, and regulatory
correspondence.
Provide regular updates to management on permit status and
compliance risks.
5. Risk Management
Identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
to avoid penalties, suspension, or revocation of licenses.
Develop contingency plans for permit delays or regulatory challenges.
