JOB SUMMARY
He/She must ensure the prompt delivery of Philhealth services to the clients and/or patients, posting Philhealth benefits for the patients accurately, and timely submit the reports to the management. Philhealth clerk responsibilities is to make sure that all deliverables are completed accurately and carry out with high quality and in a timely manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responds to queries and question regarding Philhealth requirements and claims.
2. Receives and check document requirements as to completeness and validity for automatic Philhealth deduction.
3. Prepares Philhealth documents for processing.
4. Prepares Request for Payment for the Professional Fee of each doctor (individual).
5. Coordinates with medical records for documents needed as attachment for Philhealth claims.
6. Records all Philhealth utilization for in-patient and out-patient.
7. Encodes Return to Hospital (RTH) claims as to data required and reason for return.
8. Perform other tasks and/or duties that may be assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Candidate must be Bachelor’s/College graduate of Accounting, Financial or Business Management related courses.
- Preferably has a prior experience in Hospital setting as Philhealth Clerk
- With knowledge and experience in ICD (International Classification of Diseases)
