As a Pollution Control Officer, your basic function is to ensure the compliance to all legal environmental requirements of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend the requirements of the company prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal thereof;
- Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring the compliance with the air, noise, and water quality standards; the PCO and the head of the company shall be held responsible for any violation of PD 984 and its implementation rules and regulations committed by company where the officer is employed.
- Supervise the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the company.
- As a liaison officer with the Department, he/she shall keep himself abreast with the requirements and the latest available technology on the prevention, control and abatement of pollution.
- Maintain liaison with the city/provincial/municipal, DENR, and LLDA Offices.
- Facilitate compliance of the company, he/she represents with the requirements of the company.
- Prepares reports/documents for compliance on legal environmental requirements of the company.
- Daily observe 5s housekeeping principles.
- Performs other duties as work exigency dictates from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of any 4-year Engineering course.
Experience: With at least 1 year experience as PCO.
Skills: Knowledgeable in ISO requirements and implementation.
Others: Male or Female
Accredited PCO by DENR and LLDA (if applicable)
Computer literate and willing to be trained and fast learner
Has good communication skills and leadership skills.

Pay: Php24,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
