As the Production Area Manager, roles and responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership in achieving operational objectives through planning and leading production activities, coordinating and monitoring of resources to attain the standards of quality, productivity and cost.
- Provide facilitative leadership, technical direction, and administration of company policies.
- Maintain quality and productivity at satisfactory level to achieve company objectives such as customer satisfaction, technical competitiveness and cost stability.
- Ensure the most effective utilization of all production resources through proper coordination and collaboration with support departments (Eng’g, Quality, HR, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Organize, implement and monitor training programs for new and regular employees in collaboration with HR to develop and upgrade skills set and knowledge required for the current job and future career opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a Moog type work environment where teams or individuals can work towards improving the various elements of production.
- Maintain proper code of conduct within the department by administration of pertinent policies and guidelines in the fairest and most consistent manner in keeping with and furtherance of Moog values and culture.
- Create a motivating and morale-boosting workplace by establishing goals and giving due recognition to efforts that lead towards the attainment of such goals.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant course
- Six (6) years in operations performing a direct leadership role
- Strong Problem-Solving Capability and Continuous Improvement Orientation
