JOB SUMMARY
Responsible in operating the machine and performing basic equipment care or BEC (e.g., Cleaning, Lubrication, Adjustment, Inspection) to ensure standard process parameters are met and produced products are of good quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Implement all safety protocols and procedures in the production area.
2. Conduct process monitoring based on quality plan during production operation.
3. Performs in-line quality control and adjustments.
4. Performs basic equipment care to prolong machine life and ensures equipment availability.
5. Reports to his/her immediate supervisor about any problems or machine-related breakdown in the production area.
6. Implements pre and post operational activities with coordination with maintenance and engineering.
7. Provides support to engineering and maintenance during scheduled preventive maintenance of the machines and equipment.
8. Coordinates / collaborates with QA for any quality related initiatives or improvements.
9. Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned or requested by the immediate superior in relation to the improvement of office productivity, food processes, product quality and food safety.

1) Production Management: Has familiarity with processes and systems related to production operations. Can operate and maintain production equipment.
2) Production Operation: Can operate machines following established instructions and procedures and monitor machine performance.
3) Quality Control: Has familiarity with product specifications and process parameters in the manufacture of high-quality products.
4) Machine knowledge and Application: Can review and evaluate machine performance (reliability, user-friendliness and adaptability)
5) Process knowledge and Application: Can understand process parameters from raw material acceptance, production, up to finished goods packaging.
6) Electrical Maintenance: Can diagnose, troubleshoot and prevent online electrical problems and can implement electrical safety through proper use of test instruments and electrical tools.
7) Mechanical Maintenance: Can implement mechanical safety through proper use of tools and can diagnose, troubleshoot and prevent online mechanical problems.
8) Systems and Regulation knowledge and Application: Has basic knowledge on government safety, health and environment regulations and can identify safety hazards.
9) Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work with production supervisors, QA and other departments.
Qualifications:
1. At least two (2) years of college education, preferably in the field of science and management.
2. Bachelor's degree with minimum experience in the field of food processing, foods or hospitality service industry.
3. Must be knowledgeable in basic Microsoft applications like MS Excel and MS Power point
4. Must have a holistic understanding of a manufacturing process from raw material conversion to finished goods reporting.
5. Must have basic technical knowledge both electrical and mechanical.
6. Willingness to work in shifting schedules including weekends and holidays.
7. Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
