A well-established and reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company is looking for a Purchasing Head to lead its procurement function. The company is a major partner of both local and multinational brands, known for its strict quality standards and commitment to operational excellence.
Role Overview:
The Purchasing Head will oversee the procurement of raw materials, packaging components, and indirect goods. This strategic leadership role is key to ensuring continuity in production, maintaining supplier relationships, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the purchasing team to execute sourcing strategies aligned with production and business goals.
- Develop and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.
- Analyze procurement data, vendor performance, and market trends to guide decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with production, supply chain, QA, and finance departments.
- Optimize inventory and mitigate supply chain risks through strategic sourcing and alternative vendor development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 8 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or large-scale manufacturing companies.
- Strong experience in sourcing raw and packaging materials; indirect procurement and CAPEX exposure is an advantage.
- Skilled in supplier negotiation, contract management, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Proven leadership in managing procurement teams and driving cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: Php200,000.00 - Php250,000.00 per month
