Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, terms, and quality for goods and services.
Coordinate with department heads to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Verify and track deliveries, ensuring all items received meet required specifications and quantities.
Maintain an organized system of procurement records, including supplier contracts, price lists, and purchase histories.
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships for consistent and reliable sourcing.
Ensure compliance with budget constraints, internal controls, and procurement policies.
Conduct market research to stay updated on price trends and new vendors.
Collaborate with accounting for invoice reconciliation and timely payments.
Address and resolve any supply issues or delays that could affect resort operations.
Perform periodic audits on supplies and report discrepancies to management.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Assistant, or similar role (experience in hospitality or resort setting preferred).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of handling confidential and sensitive information.
