Quantity Surveyor
- Thoroughly examine and review tender documents for any inconsistencies, additional BOQ items, or scope adjustments, and incorporate them into the tender offer. Communicate with consultants to address any ambiguities in the contract work scope and seek necessary clarifications.
- Evaluate and compare quotations received during the bidding stage.
- Analyze and recommend subcontract payments based on real-time progress assessments, valuing completed work, and forwarding payment requests to the finance department.
- Validate and review site requisitions, ensuring alignment with the approved Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
- Prepare, negotiate, and submit contract variations, additional work requests, snag reports, and maintenance orders.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and assess their implications on project execution.
- Compile necessary documents such as proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related materials to prepare estimates for work.
- Determine labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing relevant information.
- Present the prepared estimate by organizing and presenting both numerical and descriptive information.
- Generate specialized reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing pertinent information and trends.
- Maintain an up-to-date cost database by accurately entering and backing up data.

Minimum Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the related field. Knowledgeable in estimation or finance, claims notice, claims and variations, progress billing, variation clause, progress measurements, and methods.
- Proven experience also in contracts administration and management is an advantage.
