Overview
Lead and inspire! In this dynamic role, you'll oversee all aspects of youth engagement at the Red Cross. Design engaging programs, train future leaders, and cultivate a passionate volunteer network ready to tackle emergencies and build stronger communities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and execute youth development and leadership programs, tailored to enhance volunteer skills and participation in Red Cross initiatives.
- Organize regional and national camps and congresses to foster continuous engagement of Red Cross Youth members.
- Ensure nationwide adherence to Red Cross Youth programs, policies, and procedures.
- Recognize and award deserving volunteers regularly.
- Maintain an updated database of volunteer profiles and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with governmental, non-governmental, and educational entities to facilitate volunteer recruitment.
- Provide consultation and technical assistance to services and chapters on volunteer management.
- Coordinate sponsorships for Red Cross Youth members attending international events.
- Develop annual unit goals aligned with organizational strategies.
- Ensure adherence to PRC policies and standards in program and financial management.
- Maintain accountability and fairness in human resources management.
- Timely submission of required documents and reports.
- Support overall PRC activities and strategic alignment.
- Develop business continuity plans for the department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in program management and youth-related activities.
- Understanding of youth development principles and best practices.
- Capacity to develop long-term strategic plans for program growth.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
