The ABR/S Community is a collaboration of implementation projects. Regardless whether they are On-Premise, BPaaS or SaaS projects, Master Governance Manila team supports the community via ABR/S baseline maintenance and improvements. Your tasks
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Release and Configuration Engineer to join our team in Makati City, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the release process and configuration of our software products, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain release management processes and procedures
- Configure and manage version control systems to track changes in software code
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper version control and branching strategies
- Manage and coordinate software releases across multiple environments
- Implement and maintain configuration management best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, release, and deployment processes
- Create and maintain documentation for release and configuration management processes
- Continuously improve release and configuration management practices to enhance efficiency and quality
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful software releases
Qualifications
What you need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- At least 1-4 years of experience in Release/Build and/or Change Management, or
- At least 2-4 years of experience in Systems Configuration, Analysis or Development
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Working experience in one or more programming or scripting languages such as, but not limited to, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Bash, etc.
- Effective leadership , analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Background in banking industry
- Agile / ITIL Certification
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
- Background in technical software engineering
- Experience with Eclipse IDE
- Experience working with Avaloq products
- Avaloq ICE Release Stream creation, cutover
- Knowledge about Avaloq Front Platform, Mobile Application releases.
- Shell scripting, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Container Platform.
- Be used to fast pace and complex environments.
- At ease in writing technical documentations (e.g. on Confluence).
