Role overview
The Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements and developing reporting & BI solutions required by the Operations and Finance team, which is used to inform the leadership about business performance and to underpin important business decisions at the Executive, SSLL and engagement team level.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and maintain multiple BI dashboards & excel reports integrating performance data from various functions (e.g., Markets, RM, Finance, Talent) to provide a comprehensive view of business performance and forecasts with insights for Consulting priorities and projects.
• Gather business requirements and support stakeholders with key metrics reporting on Pipeline, Sales, Revenue (TER, TNR), FTEs and other measures.
• Support operations with BAU and ad hoc reporting. Determine reporting needs, source and aggregate data, and draft reports ensuring consistency across the Consulting SL.
• Enhance data-driven analysis and automate reporting using workflows, RPA, and other tools to boost efficiency.
• Build relationships with other functions and service lines to gather necessary inputs for report production, including data/system owners, process owners, or business owners.
• Maintain knowledge of systems and data management protocols in Consulting.
• Collaborate with teams to effectively develop and use dashboards.
• Prioritize data/report requests and ensure consistency of reporting across the Consulting SL by developing, analyzing, and modifying processes, data structures, and models.
Skills and experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into data reports providing complex data insights in a clear and effective manner using EY tools and systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of EY systems including Reporting hub, Retain, SRSS, CRM, and other emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
