The Research and Development (R&D) Analyst oversees research activities and develop knowledge-based products for a company. They develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct product stability tests and qualifications of new material from suppliers
- Establishes documents regarding formulations, specifications. and testing instructions
- In charge of product reformulation: conduct lab scale trial before blending/actual production
- Maintains product history and data gathering of reformulatlons, stability tests, and material accreditation and maintains a database of all test procedures and formulations accepted by customers
- Coordinates with Corporate Research and Development in establishing formulation, specification, and testing instruction: seek R&D Manager's approval of formulation/reformulation
- Verifies with R&D Supervisors and Managers regarding final/official formulation and test procedures and deploying formulation, specification, and testing instruction to laboratory analysts
- Responsible for the compliance performance of products to specifications by data trend analysis
- Attends to sample and pre-shipment sample request
- Upholds and preserves monitoring reports related to raw materials, supplier sample, other materials related to the result of the physico-chemical analysis
- Safeguard to perform physico-chemical analysis for qualifying new or changed raw materials
- Responds to issued Corrective Action Requests and ensure its closure based on defined
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or Nutrition (License in any of the degrees is an advantage)
- At least three (3) years of work experience in a food manufacturing laboratory (R&D experience is not required but an advantage)
- Experience in food powder ingredient industry is an advantage
- With extensive background in Food Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO 17025
- With general knowledge in ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISO 22000 (FSSC)
- Lean manufacturing understanding

Pay: Php14,500.00 - Php16,500.00 per month
