Education & Experienced Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree holder related to Research
- Five years experience in Research Writing
- With research paper publication
Job Summary / Duties & Responsibilities:
The Center of Research and Innovation directs and implements the University's Research policies, objectives, and initiatives. The Director ensures research activities will maintain the University's competitive position in terms of Research.
Further, the Director creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the Department. The Director also leads in developing policies and procedures for Research to support the different Departments of the University, including its Academic and Non-Academic Support Offices.
Specifically:
- Leads in revising policies and procedures for the Center for Research and Innovation, including its research procedural flow, schedule, and other related to such.
- Facilitates the conduct of faculty research, presentation of research outputs in local, national, and international research forums, and publication of research outputs in accredited international journals
- Encourages and coordinates faculty research and various forms of productive scholarship in the University
- Establishes linkages with other agencies for research support and research grants or funding
- Leads in submitting compliance for accreditations, internal audits, and other related activities where the business of the University is at stake
