Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management:
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor restaurant performance, track KPIs (sales, labor, costs, etc.), and report regularly to upper management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food quality standards, and company policies.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for ordering supplies and equipment.
* Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver high-quality service.
- Manage payroll, labor budgets, and adherence to labor laws.
* Customer Service:
- Ensure all customers receive exceptional service and address any customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement necessary changes to improve service.
- Oversee the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area to ensure an inviting atmosphere.
* Financial Management:
- Monitor and control operational costs (labor, food, utilities) to maximize profitability.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including till reconciliations and bank deposits.
- Prepare financial reports, track sales goals, and develop strategies to improve financial performance.
* Inventory and Stock Management:
- Maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand while controlling waste.
- Conduct regular stock counts and oversee inventory orders to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Monitor product quality and ensure stock rotation to minimize waste.
* Marketing & Promotions:
- Implement local store marketing strategies to drive sales and customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, promotions, and events.
