Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to fill the role of Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the company's overall financial health. The ideal candidate will manage comprehensive financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide actionable recommendations to support business decisions. This role requires a detail-oriented and trustworthy professional with solid experience in accounting, financial analysis, and BIR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee BIR compliance and ensure timely submission of all government-mandated reports and requirements.
- Develop and monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide strategic financial recommendations.
- Identify financial risks, inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Provide clear financial insights and presentations to management and non-finance stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and confidential handling of all company financial data and documents.
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and improve the company’s financial systems, controls, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of solid experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong background in:
- Comprehensive financial reporting and analysis
- Balance sheet management
- Budget preparation and variance analysis
- In-depth knowledge of BIR compliance and government regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide data-driven recommendations.
- High level of trustworthiness, responsibility, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in translating financial data to actionable business insights.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising and developing accounting teams.
