The Sales and Yield Associate is responsible for executing sales strategies to maximize revenue for Wright Park Hotel. This role provides leadership, coaching and support to the Sales and Marketing Team, driving team performance and ensuring consistent business growth. The Sales and Yield Associate also manages client relationships, oversees event coordination and ensures that all sales processes align with hotel profitability targets and client expectations.
1. Lead Generation and Conversion: Identify and pursue sales lead from room bookings, events and group functions including both small and large group bookings. Leverage various outreach methods including cold-calling, email campaigns and in- person client visits.
· Respond to requests and inquiries promptly to secure bookings
2. Sales Process Management: Assist in responding to inquiries, managing their leads and tracking progress. Ensure that the team follows best practices in client engagement and lead conversion.
3. Client and Event Management: Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. Develop long term relationships with key accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business.
4. Sales Outreach: Conduct regular client-facing activities including sales calls, offsite visits and attendance at networking events and tradeshows to promote hotel’s services and offerings.
5. Banquet Event Orders (BEO): Review all BEOs to confirm details and pricing ensuring profitability and accuracy. Collaborate with the concerned departments for smooth implementation of event logistics.
6. Financial Oversight: Ensure proper communication with the Accounting/ Finance Department for tracking payments, deposits and expenses related to events and bookings.
7. Sales Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Track team performance metrics providing regular reports to the Sales, Marketing and Media Manager.
8. Tradeshow and Event Promotion: Lead efforts in organizing and attending tradeshows, expos, and promotional events. Identify opportunities for participation to increase hotel visibility and attract new clients.
9. New Sales Initiatives: Work with Sales, Marketing and Media Manager and other departments to develop new sales packages and event offerings based on current trends and client preferences ensuring competitiveness in the market.
10. Cross- Department Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Food and Beverages, Front Office, Housekeeping and other revenue generating outlet to ensure seamless event execution and a positive guest experience.
11. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Management, Marketing, or any related course.
EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENT
· With at least 3 years’ work experience is preferred.
