Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by preparing quotations, processing orders, and managing administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth coordination between the Sales team, customers, and other departments to help drive sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Quotation and Order Management
- Prepare accurate sales quotations based on customer needs and pricing guidelines
- Coordinate with Sales Engineers to validate quotations
- Follow up on quotations and customer feedback
- Submit confirmed orders for processing
Customer Communication
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product, pricing, and delivery information
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure their needs are met
- Handle initial negotiations on pricing and payment terms within company policies
- Support new customers with required documents and credit term processing
- Prepare basic contracts and agreements
Sales and Admin Support
- Update and track sales leads and customer info
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Keep organized records of quotations and customer interactions.
- Assist with sales reports, meeting schedules, and documentation.
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, especially in B2B industries like Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or Personal Care.
- Familiarity with engineering products such as water treatment systems, steam equipment, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in order handling, inventory, and logistics is a plus.
