Fresenius Medical Care Philippines is looking for a seasoned HR Lead who will cover our Philippines organization. The Philippines organization spans both our Commercial business and Global Business services with more than 1,200 employees and growing.
The Senior Country HR Partner - Philippines is a very important role in the HR fraternity of the region. The role will provide In-country HR Partnering support to all entities in the Philippines, i.e. GBS and Commercial with a focus on GBS Manila.
Key Responsibilities
In country HR Partnering:
Partner with In country leadership and other regional/global stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business priorities, fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and accountability.
HR Operations & Program Execution
Ensure effective and consistent implementation of CoE-driven HR initiatives, ensuring seamless integration into country specific HR operations.
Partner with CoEs such as TA to fulfill site needs with agility.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution in line with company policies and local labor laws.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and programs are compliant with local labor laws while maintaining consistency with the company’s global HR framework.
Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate HR-related risks and uphold the highest standards of ethical and regulatory compliance.
Drive HR governance across the country, ensuring adherence to best practices in employee relations, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning.
Employee Experience & Engagement
• Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and high performance by ensuring HR effectively address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
• Act as a champion of company culture, embedding core values into HR programs and driving initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
• Support change management efforts as required locally.
Supervision:
• Will have the HR Lead for Commercial business reporting into this role and will provide oversight to HR in an matrix environment.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred.
Experience & Skills
Demonstrated ability to be an agent of change. Must be able to manage key stakeholders.
Ability to influence for impact and drive results.
Collaborates at all levels through listening, sharing, and building upon ideas, challenging others’ ideas respectfully, compromises and adapts in order to achieve common goals that are the best interests of the organization and the teams involved.
Competence in software applications relating to human resources such as case management systems and Workday is preferred along with the suite of Microsoft Office products.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills - both written and verbal including English
Can work independently and can manage multiple and competing priorities.
Has strong business acumen in addition to Human Resources skills.
