About the role
We are seeking a Head of Product to take ownership of the ParcelHero product suite, including our flagship price comparison service and the new ParcelHero Pro platform.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, sitting at the intersection of commercial strategy and technology execution. You will define the product vision, shape the roadmap, and represent product in engineering meetings to ensure alignment between business goals and technical delivery.
The ideal candidate has a background in sales/marketing but also possesses a deep understanding of software development and engineering processes, enabling them to collaborate effectively with tech teams.
Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring they meet defined scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact between business, product, engineering, and external partners, managing expectations and driving alignment.
- Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics. Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Process & Governance: Establish best practices in project management, reporting, and documentation to ensure visibility, accountability, and control across initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional project teams, removing blockers and ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- eCommerce Expertise: Leverage knowledge of online retail, logistics, and SaaS platforms to guide project decisions and anticipate challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyse project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements for future projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluent in English: Both written and verbal.
- Experience: 7+ years in project/program management, with at least 3+ years in eCommerce, SaaS, or digital product environments.
- Agile Leadership: Proven track record of running Agile projects (Scrum/Kanban), including leading ceremonies, backlog management, and sprint delivery.
- Certification or Equivalent: Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile qualification/experience.
- Technical Fluency: Strong experience working closely with engineering teams; able to understand software development processes, integrations, and dependencies.
- Leadership: Track record of leading cross-functional teams, influencing without direct authority, and managing senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong grasp of eCommerce dynamics (customer journeys, checkout, payments, logistics, fulfilment).
- Organisation: Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to simplify complexity for different audiences.

- Experience with shipping, logistics, or eCommerce platforms.
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2.
- Click-up power user.
- Previous leadership of a project management team in a scaling SaaS company.
