Main Scope:
The Service Crew is a versatile team member responsible for delivering excellent customer service by handling both front-of-house (e.g., cashiering, order fulfillment) and back-of-house (e.g., food preparation, kitchen support) tasks. This role ensures smooth kitchen operations, maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards, and supports sales through efficient order processing and product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Front-of-House (Cashier & Dispatch Duties)
- Process customer orders accurately using the POS system and issue Official Receipts.
- Maintain item availability by updating inventory on Alfred and third-party platforms.
- Handle receipt storage, record-keeping, and assist in basic administrative tasks.
Back-of-House (Line Cook Duties)
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following recipe and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure all tools are properly maintained.
- Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation for consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all workstations per health guidelines.
Team & Operational Support
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
- Support team operations and uphold CQSMA standards (Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, Atmosphere).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Accuracy and completeness of receipts for all transactions
- Timeliness in issuing receipts and dispatching orders
- Contribution to overall cooking and preparation time efficiency
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Effective communication and teamwork
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, kitchen tools, and food preparation
- Willing to work in a shifting schedule, 6-day workweek
- Able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Knowledgeable in food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
