Job description
To support store and inventory operations by accurately managing stock records, assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring financial and inventory data are aligned. This dual-role is critical in businesses like supermarkets, hardware stores, and small-to-medium enterprises.
Store Clerk Functions
- Assist customers, process sales, issue receipts or invoices
- Handle point-of-sale (POS) systems and daily cash balancing
- Monitor shelf stocks, price tags, and display conditions
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for restocking and product requests
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory logs (manual and/or software-based)
- Perform regular stock-taking, cycle counts, and inventory audits
- Record incoming/outgoing stocks (deliveries, sales, returns)
- Flag discrepancies or stock issues to management
Accounting Functions
- Encode daily sales reports, invoices, and receipts
- Assist in preparing inventory and sales reconciliation reports
- Handle petty cash, basic bookkeeping, and expense reports
- Support month-end closing and audit requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php17,000.00 per month
