Job Summary:
The Supervisor – Talent Acquisition reports to the Assoc. Manager and oversees the HR Specialist, ensuring recruitment processes meet the team’s SLA. This role requires a deep understanding of business trends, data analysis, and developing recruitment strategies to meet the company's hiring needs. The supervisor also plays a key role in building and executing sourcing initiatives, increasing the applicant pool, and ensuring recruitment processes are efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing policies, create job ads, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and job portals. Conduct market research to improve recruitment strategies.
Screening & Selection: Oversee job application screening, conduct interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers for final assessments.
Placement & Onboarding: Handle job offers, background checks, and ensure the smooth onboarding of new hires, ensuring compliance and accuracy in HR data.
Retention: Ensure new hires have a smooth onboarding experience to improve retention.
Supervisory Role: Monitor team performance, allocate work, conduct coaching sessions, and ensure timely closing of manpower requirements.
Budget & Reporting: Manage the recruitment budget, track sourcing activities, and prepare recruitment reports.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
Experience: At least 5 years in Talent Acquisition, with 2+ years in a supervisory role, preferably in the retail industry.
This role is crucial for driving recruitment success and ensuring efficient onboarding processes in line with business needs.
