We are looking for a Technical Lead – Digital Platform (M365) to take ownership of our Microsoft 365 services and help shape the digital workplace for thousands of users worldwide. You’ll lead technical design and operations, support platform governance, and work closely with field teams to ensure tools are secure, reliable, and effective—wherever our mission takes us.
The Technical Design Lead – Digital Platform (M365) is a hands-on expert responsible for the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services across the organization. This includes Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and related security and compliance features. The role leads platform enablement, ensures secure and reliable service delivery, and supports adoption across global field offices and headquarters.
Working in close partnership with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, application support, and field IT teams, this role contributes to both operational excellence and modernization efforts aligned with the digital workplace strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 platforms, with a focus on performance, integration, and user experience.
Lead the configuration, deployment, and optimization of services across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and related compliance/security tools.
Collaborate with architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient service delivery.
Provide technical guidance and documentation to support platform standardization and governance in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.
Partner with Application Support and TBM teams to drive adoption, training, and effective use of productivity tools.
Support service integration across M365, Box, and other platforms within the digital workplace ecosystem.
Provide third-level support and act as escalation point for complex issues and service interruptions.
Work collaboratively within Agile teams, embracing iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and adaptive planning.
Provide mentoring to junior engineers and regional IT staff, ensuring consistent capabilities across the organization.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 platform administration and configuration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform).
Experience with Microsoft Purview, Intune, conditional access, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies is desirable.
Strong scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Power Automate, etc.).
Solid understanding of M365 licensing models, tenant architecture, and service dependencies.
Familiarity with hybrid identity management (Azure AD, Entra ID) and device integration.
Security-first mindset with awareness of platform compliance and user access controls.
Proven ability to document standards and procedures and collaborate across cybersecurity and support teams.
Agile foundation knowledge and ability to lead and contribute within Agile delivery frameworks.
Experience supporting regional or field-based teams with varied connectivity requirements.
