Treasury Analyst
To assist in the delivery and management of Treasury Operations of the Finance department. Performs treasury assistance to achieve key result areas such as Treasury Banking (TB), Forecasting (F), Treasury Management (TM), Reporting and Systems (RS), and Operational Activities (OA).
About the job:
Treasury Banking
- Handles all payment processing for Phil. Finance Shared Service. (Host-to-host / Manual)
- Execute electronic payment via online banking
- Act as a gatekeeper for payment transactions to ensure all remittances were successfully transferred/accepted by the bank, and also to ensure that all rejected transactions were properly monitored and provide resolution for reprocessing.
- Assists in monitoring and reconciliation of bank statements during month-end and quarterly closing.
Forcasting
- Assists in the preparation of the Bi-weekly/monthly cash forecast requirements for other Asia entities
Treasury Management
- Closely coordinate with financial service providers to address all requirements and resolve any issues, and monitor and enforce the Treasury Policy, evaluating and recommending improvements.
Reporting & System
- Ensures completeness and timeliness of recording of all payment-related transactions in the books (SAP)
- Strive for continuous improvement for Treasury payment transaction (process efficiency) and (automation) monitors and supports automated treasury processes (H2H).
- Work closely with the treasury accountant in the payment of payroll-related remittance to government (ie. SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-IBIG) and other offices (ie. Bank loans).
OA –
- Responsible for the preparation and checking of the validity, accuracy, and timeliness of all disbursements. Understands and manages appropriate accounting procedures and processes. Ensures compliance with financial and company policies to maintain a good internal control system and operational processes for audit review of cash and payroll transactions.
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable Team to follow-up and monitor Aged AP items.
- Performs other financial responsibilities as may be reasonably required by the Finance Controller/Finance Supervisor/Treasury-Asia/HQ
About you:
- A graduate of Accountancy/Accounting Management or any business-related course
- Must have 3+ years of working experience, A Treasury background is an advantage
- Must be knowledgeable in BIR rulings, particularly withholding taxes (including payment processing)
- Experience in the preparation of financial schedules and statutory filings, including some disclosures
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well under time pressure and minimal supervision
- Customer service-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
