We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant/ Doper to join our terminal operations team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the safe, accurate, and efficient measurement (doping) of petroleum products during receipt, storage, and delivery operations. Your role is critical to ensuring inventory integrity, regulatory compliance, and smooth terminal flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tank Doping: Measure and record petroleum product levels in storage tanks using manual and automatic gauging tools.
- Product Sampling: Collect product samples per industry standards and terminal SOPs for quality control.
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain detailed, real-time records of tank levels, product volumes, and movements.
- Operational Coordination: Work closely with Pump Operators, Loading Rack Operators, and Control Room staff to coordinate product transfers and tank switching.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and terminal policies.
- Maintenance Support: Assist with routine checks on gauging equipment, tank hatches, and safety devices.
- Incident Reporting: Promptly report any discrepancies, leaks, or unsafe conditions to supervision.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in petroleum terminals or bulk liquid storage (preferred)
- Strong understanding of measurement principles, tank charts, and API standards
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
