What We're Looking For:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred but not required.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and taxation.
· Strong knowledge of BIR regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards (PFRS/IFRS).
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience in the restaurant and hotel industry is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing monthly management reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
· Preparation of statutory financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
· Overseeing month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
· Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, providing actionable financial insights.
· Assisting with process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
· Perform automated completeness checks to ensure the general ledger is complete and accurate with the trial balance.
· Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
· Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
· Manage and process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
· Prepare and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
· Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
· Ensure proper filing of all financial documents, both digitally and physically as required.
· Support with tax reporting and assist in year-end financial audits.
· Process superannuation contributions and ensure timely payments.
· Generate reports and provide insights on the financial health of the company as needed.
· Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
· Work closely with management to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
