- Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department to ensure accurate, efficient, and prompt submission of accounting-related reports and compliance to regulatory bodies.
- Prepares reports required by government agencies and the Management
- Implements and monitors sound internal controls based on the Department's Operations Manual, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Drive improvements and efficiencies within the team and any impacts across other teams of the organization.
- Documents processes or updates operations manual to keep abreast of the business or government requirements.
- Performs all other relevant functions that may be assigned from time to time.
- Evaluates and monitors the job performance of staff and subordinates
Qualification
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- At least 2 years related experience
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Experience in SAP accounting software
- Good leadership skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders
