Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our construction company’s finance team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and managing project-related expenses. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction accounting, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliations specific to construction projects.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and subcontractors.
- Assist in tracking project expenses, job costing, and budget management.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to review budget vs. actual costs.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial reports.
- Respond to vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding payments and billing.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and financial audits.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to the accounting department.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php17,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
