FINANCE ASSOCIATE
Job Description:
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting, Finance and Compliance Department
- Manage the disbursement process:
o process and verify invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other obligations.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain proper documentation.
- Monitor outstanding payables and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payables.
- Oversee the billing process including:
o generating and issuing invoices to clients in a timely manner
o monitoring and following up on outstanding receivables to ensure prompt payment
o maintain accurate records of collections and reconcile discrepancies
o process and apply payments received to appropriate accounts,
o assist in preparing reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
- Reconcile bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Ensure accurate documentation for bank payments, including approvals and supporting documents.
- Assist in bank-related transactions, such as loan payments, fund transfers, and the release of checks
- Prepare reports on cash position and treasury activities.
- Assist third-party clients regarding financial transactions and inquiries:
o Ensure timely processing of third-party transactions.
o Provide financial reports and reconciliations for third-party accounts.
o Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Assist in tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and other regulatory filings.
- Work closely with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Financial Management or any related course
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation is preferred
- Knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles
- Certification or ongoing studies in CPA, CFA, or related fields is a plus
- Open for Fresh Graduates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php17,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
